What seems to be the case here is that...The Judge was under pressure to reject the Bail Plea on some pretext & the NCB had to prove a point(that's what NCB has said in a statement today) so that consequently, people perceive that Aryan was actually guilty and that is why his Bail Plea was denied(mostly people follow only Headlines and jump to conclusions). Also, it's not the lawyer's fault as it is evident that Judge has just shifted the focus to mere maintainability whereas the bail could've easily been given on Merits.

It wasn't lawyers mistake, it is due to power pressure of central govt. ASG is appearing in small courts unprecedented.
What seems to be the case here is that...The Judge was under pressure to reject the Bail Plea on some pretext & the NCB had to prove a point(that's what NCB has said in a statement today) so that consequently, people perceive that Aryan was actually guilty and that is why his Bail Plea was denied(mostly people follow only Headlines and jump to conclusions).
Also, it's not the lawyer's fault as it is evident that Judge has just shifted the focus to mere maintainability whereas the bail could've easily been given on Merits.

Portugal example is the right way to deal with drugs menace. Consumers should be treated as patients who need rehabilitation center and not Jail whereas suppliers and drug exporters should be treated with iron hand. Unfortunately in India everything is politicised and actual culprits seldom get punished.
I think every drug should be decriminalized and every one should have the right to put whatever they want in their own body, goverment shouldn't be the one telling them that you can't take drugs or you need treatment.
